About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with lending business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data mappings
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Analyze lending systems and processes, including loan origination, underwriting, and servicing, to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations from discovery through deployment and post-launch stabilization
  • Lead requirements workshops and facilitate cross-functional discussions
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing, including test planning, defect triage, and resolution tracking
  • Ensure solutions address regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations relevant to banking and lending
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable role
  • Demonstrated experience supporting lending within a banking context, including loan origination systems, underwriting, and loan servicing platforms
  • Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling skills
  • Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives and work with development teams and business stakeholders
  • Willingness to take direction and provide direction when needed
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or traditional waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored to technical and executive audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and structured approach
  • Experience in wealth management lending or related financial services domains preferred
  • Familiarity with data analysis and querying, such as SQL, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Successful completion of a background investigation may be required
  • Ability to satisfy applicable U.S. employment and assignment requirements
