About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with lending business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data mappings
Act as the primary liaison between business units and development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Analyze lending systems and processes, including loan origination, underwriting, and servicing, to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations from discovery through deployment and post-launch stabilization
Lead requirements workshops and facilitate cross-functional discussions
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing, including test planning, defect triage, and resolution tracking
Ensure solutions address regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations relevant to banking and lending
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable role
Demonstrated experience supporting lending within a banking context, including loan origination systems, underwriting, and loan servicing platforms
Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling skills
Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives and work with development teams and business stakeholders
Willingness to take direction and provide direction when needed
Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or traditional waterfall delivery methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored to technical and executive audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and structured approach
Experience in wealth management lending or related financial services domains preferred
Familiarity with data analysis and querying, such as SQL, preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
Successful completion of a background investigation may be required
Ability to satisfy applicable U.S. employment and assignment requirements
