About the role

  • Act as the technical reference for AWS, defining architectural standards that ensure resilience, high scalability, and security for digital products and the data ecosystem.
  • Lead the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, ensuring governance and standardization of modules and state management using Terraform.
  • Promote and manage the adoption of modern technologies, including Containers (Kubernetes), microservices, APIs, and messaging services for high-throughput workflows.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, ensuring fast, secure, and consistent production deployments.
  • Support the rollout and governance of new repositories and services, ensuring integration between development squads and the data area.
  • Contribute to the development of internal automations and tools alongside other engineers, applying Clean Code, SOLID, and Clean Architecture principles.
  • Monitor environment health using the ELK stack, establish risk mitigation plans, and ensure product performance and scalability.
  • Respond promptly and decisively to critical incidents, perform root cause analyses (RCA), and propose permanent improvements.
  • Make active decisions on new technologies and standards that support the product strategy and the evolution of the insurance platform (#TechInsurance).

Requirements

  • Strong, in-depth experience with AWS architecture and services, ensuring resilience and scalability of production and data environments.
  • Proficiency with Docker and hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proficiency in Jenkins and source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket, using the Gitflow strategy.
  • Experience managing and optimizing relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  • Proven experience in microservices, APIs, and messaging service ecosystems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the ELK stack (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and log analysis.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following languages or frameworks: Python/Django, PHP/Laravel, or VueJS.
  • Solid knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), Clean Architecture, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
  • Practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and proficiency with JIRA.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate in multiple contexts simultaneously, with the ability to simplify complex problems into clear solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactive problem-solving, and openness to give and receive feedback.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with a focus on continuous innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Possess AWS certifications (Associate, Professional, or Specialty) and specialization courses in Kubernetes or data architecture.
