About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Point of contact and advisor for management and customers regarding the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including support for projects and new requirements
Independently manage tenders and implement new WMS projects from planning through evaluation
Analyze existing processes, define functional and technical requirements, and continuously develop the warehouse management system
Plan, manage, and monitor WMS projects, considering timelines, resources, and goal attainment
Coordinate interfaces between logistics and software partners and ensure smooth information flow
Perform data analyses to identify optimization opportunities and develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of professional experience as an IT project manager/associate in the WMS area—ideally in logistics service providers
Completed vocational training (e.g., freight forwarding and logistics services clerk) or a similar qualification is an advantage
Knowledge of logistics and an understanding of the interaction between operational processes, especially logistics and warehouse processes, and system support
Experience analyzing, optimizing, and implementing Warehouse Management Systems
Experience with databases and SQL queries is desirable
Experience with the WMS LFS V8 from Ehrhardt+Partner is a plus
Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and team spirit
