About the role
- Active acquisition of new customers in the area of contract logistics
- Responsible for the strategic expansion of market presence in retail, FMCG, electronics, industrial, DIY and mechanical engineering
- Further development of logistics services specifically for e-commerce
- Development of tailored logistics solutions in close cooperation with Operations, Engineering and Project Management
- Conducting market, customer and competitor analyses to identify new business opportunities
- Preparation and presentation of convincing proposals and concepts at decision-maker level
- Building, maintaining and further developing sustainable customer relationships
- Participation in the strategic development of the sales concept
- Attendance at trade fairs, industry events and networking functions
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager or Sales Manager in the logistics industry, specifically in contract logistics
- Well-established network
- A solid understanding of business administration and experience in project management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
