About the role
- Work on a variety of DOT and/or LPA roadway/highway projects
- Supports project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects
- Takes a lead role in project planning, design, and implementation
- Manages project tasks, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Delegates work to project team members
- Coordinates with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
- Performs detailed engineering analysis and design tasks
- Assists with proposals or funding applications
- Mentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance
- Ensures compliance with relevant codes, standards
- May perform other duties associated with this role
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools and software
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Valid Driver's License
