About the role

  • Oversee a team of engineers throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of roadway design projects for DOT and local agencies.
  • Promote teamwork, mentorship of junior staff, and managing client relationships.
  • Serve as a project manager for INDOT and local agency roadway design projects.
  • Perform quality checks on work performed by project team members.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring service and communication satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Typically requires 10+ years of progressive experience in Roadway Design Engineering; experience on INDOT roadway projects is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance client relationships.
  • Experience with project management and accounting software.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools for design, project management, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License
