Manage a team, or group of teams, which may include engineers, technicians, and other office personnel
Routinely interact with organization leaders, clients, officials, contractors, and others
Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials, or other organizations
Develop standards and guidelines for the area of responsibility, and oversee the technical, legal, and financial issues of a program
Hold primary responsibility for project management of various LPA and/or DOT roadway/highway design projects, ensuring timely completion, appropriate allocation of resources, and budget management
Lead and mentor junior-level engineers and other team members to aid in their development
Apply knowledge acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions
Serve as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, QA/QC, and methods
Review operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
