Play a key role in the growth, leadership, and development of the Missouri Structural team.
Establish and maintain relationships with DOT and local agency clients, assisting with business development for the Structural Engineering service line.
Apply extensive knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge and transportation structures design.
Perform as a project manager on DOT and local agency bridge design projects.
Work on major projects or several major projects of moderate scope with complex features.
Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
Assist senior management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
Prepare proposals and funding applications.
As opportunities present themselves this role may also be involved in other various projects and responsibilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Structural emphasis is helpful
Professional Engineer (PE)
12+ years of Structural Engineering experience with an emphasis on bridge design projects
Experience with project management and accounting software
Exceptional organization skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
