About the role
- Provide assistance to stores in the execution of merchandising and operational standards
- Contribute to and support implementation programs designed to increase colleague capability
- Ensure department adherence to company policies/procedures and consistent execution of format process and strategy
- Work closely with all stakeholders to foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Provide stakeholders with post mortems from events, seasonal programs and BU initiatives
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Participate in District Manager/Department Manager calls
- Conduct store visits and analyze department performance
Requirements
- Prior operations P&L experience
- 3-5 years of experience coaching, developing and managing in retail operations
- Excellent problem solving, communication, organizational, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize
- Strong change management skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisions
- Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment and shifting priorities
- Strong team player with self-discipline and motivation to work independently
- Willingness to travel
