- Picking parts accurately according to engineering drawings or Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Building mechanical sub-assemblies to specification
- Assembling and servicing shock absorbers
- Testing completed units for performance and quality
- Completing all relevant documentation and records

- Inspecting the quality of completed parts
- Marking parts as required for identification
