Key responsibilities & impact
  • Edit recorded training sessions into concise, engaging self-paced learning modules
  • Review, segment, annotate, enhance, and reuse training recordings and source materials
  • Develop screen recordings demonstrating contact center technology functionality, workflows, navigation, and task execution
  • Add transitions, callouts, annotations, highlights, graphics, screenshots, cursor emphasis, and other visual enhancements
  • Edit and enhance audio for clarity, consistency, volume, and production quality
  • Develop diagrams, process illustrations, icons, screenshots, title cards, instructional graphics, and other multimedia assets
  • Create job aids, quick-reference guides, desk-side references, and performance-support materials
  • Collaborate with curriculum designers, writers/editors, instructional designers, technical SMEs, training operations personnel, VA stakeholders, and accessibility specialists
  • Convert source materials into standardized, reusable multimedia components for multiple VA learning pathways
  • Apply VA and project-specific branding, formatting, naming, file-management, and production standards
  • Incorporate captions, transcripts, descriptive text, accessible graphics, and other accessibility features
  • Remediate existing non-508-compliant videos and multimedia products
  • Optimize products for VA TMS, web-based learning, downloadable resources, and approved collaboration platforms
  • Maintain organized source, project, production, transcript, graphics, and other asset files
  • Participate in content reviews, sprint planning, production reviews, status meetings, and team activities
  • Incorporate review comments and revisions while maintaining version control and production schedules
  • Perform quality assurance reviews for technical accuracy, audio/video quality, consistency, accessibility, and curriculum alignment
  • Support rapid production in response to Genesys Cloud CX changes, curriculum updates, and VA operational requirements
  • Maintain a reusable multimedia asset library
  • Support Train-the-Trainer materials and instructor-support products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in multimedia production, instructional technology, graphic design, digital media, communications, education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing and editing multimedia learning content, instructional videos, e-learning assets, or comparable digital training products
  • Experience editing video and audio content for professional or instructional purposes
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, or comparable multimedia production and video-editing tools
  • Experience creating high-quality screen recordings and software demonstrations
  • Experience developing graphics, visual annotations, callouts, diagrams, screenshots, and other visual learning assets
  • Experience converting raw or minimally edited recordings into polished instructional content
  • Experience collaborating with instructional designers, curriculum developers, technical SMEs, or other subject matter experts
  • Ability to translate complex technical or procedural information into clear, visually understandable learning content
  • Experience developing job aids, quick-reference materials, desk-side references, or other performance-support resources
  • Working knowledge of digital learning and multimedia accessibility requirements, including captioning, transcripts, accessible documents, and visual accessibility
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across a large training-product library
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting production schedules and quality standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain VA-required access, security, or background investigation requirements
  • Preferred: federal government, Department of Veterans Affairs, enterprise training, contact center, Genesys Cloud CX, VA TMS, SCORM/LMS, Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Section 508, modular learning, instructional design, adult learning, motion graphics, Agile/Scrum, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams experience
