About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines within GitLab
  • Enforce DevSecOps principles through automated vulnerability scanning and compliance gates
  • Standardize deployment templates and pipeline workflows
  • Lead deployment, configuration, and scaling of ERP testing platforms including Tricentis Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, and LiveCompare
  • Manage and troubleshoot hybrid deployments across EKS containerized microservices and EC2 monolithic applications
  • Manage and scale AWS infrastructure across EKS, EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Implement cloud security controls including IAM policies, VPC security, and least-privilege access
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting across EKS and EC2 nodes
  • Troubleshoot environment-related failures and performance bottlenecks
  • Support a U.S. Army enterprise program and mission-critical Army systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud/Systems Engineering
  • Proven track record managing production environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
  • Deep operational knowledge of EKS, Kubernetes deployments, service networking, and EC2 instance management
  • Proven experience building, securing, and maintaining complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong proficiency in Python or Bash
  • Experience integrating SAST/DAST, container scanning, and secret detection into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and interface effectively with testing and QA engineering leads
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Direct experience with ERP software testing tools desired
  • Solid Terraform experience desired
  • Familiarity with AWS RDS configuration, tuning, and migrations desired
