About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Army logistics materiel management programs through supply management, inventory analysis, warehousing, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to evaluate materiel management operations, inventory performance, supply chain effectiveness, and emerging issues.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze information from multiple data sources to support executive decision making and program recommendations.
- Develop executive-ready briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and other written communications supporting Army logistics materiel management initiatives.
- Support planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of warehousing, secondary item management, inventory control, and supply management processes.
- Coordinate activities and recommendations across multiple Army organizations and stakeholders to support enterprise materiel management objectives.
- Monitor project activities, milestones, deliverables, inventory trends, and action items to ensure timely execution.
- Facilitate meetings, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions.
- Synthesize complex operational and analytical information into actionable recommendations that improve supply chain performance, materiel readiness, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to support leadership visibility and informed decision making.
- Support strategic planning, inventory assessments, supply chain analysis, and enterprise modernization initiatives, as required.
- Support business development activities, including market research, proposal support, solution development, and client engagement, as required.
- Perform additional consulting, analytical, and project support activities as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 or more years of professional experience supporting Army logistics, materiel management, mortuary affairs, DoD, or other complex Government organizations.
- Experience supporting strategic sustainment, supply chain operations, logistics analysis, or organizational assessments.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Self-directed, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Available for occasional travel.
- This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
