Own the architecture and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data products
Integrate data from distributed repositories, applications, and enterprise systems
Design for data quality, lineage, security, observability, and long-term maintainability
Establish engineering standards for testing, source control, deployment, and operations
Work across platform, security, software, and mission teams to deliver production capability
Review technical designs, mentor engineers, and resolve complex integration challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Eight or more years of experience building production data systems
Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, and modern data-engineering patterns
Experience designing data pipelines and services in cloud or distributed environments
Strong software-engineering fundamentals, including testing, source control, CI/CD, and operational monitoring
Demonstrated technical leadership and ownership of complex data capabilities
Experience supporting a Department of Defense customer
Active Secret clearance
Preferred: Experience supporting the U.S. Army
Preferred: Experience with AWS or another large-scale cloud platform
Preferred: Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Army Vantage, or comparable data platforms
Preferred: Experience integrating enterprise content repositories and legacy systems
Preferred: Familiarity with distributed processing, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps
