About the role

  • Develop and maintain a company-wide cloud architecture strategy based on Microsoft Azure.
  • Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Service Bus.
  • Conceptualize, implement, and roll out API management solutions to securely expose APIs.
  • Initiate and support AI activities in client projects and integrate CoPilot agentic AI.
  • Take responsibility for architectures of relational and NoSQL databases, including their scaling.
  • Advise project teams and stakeholders on architecture decisions and best practices.
  • Optimize deployments in collaboration with the DevOps team.
  • Create architecture blueprints and roadmaps, accompanied by precise documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a comparable role.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Service Bus and API Management.
  • Experience with microservices architectures, event-driven design, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of database architectures (SQL, NoSQL) and data governance.
  • Familiarity with modern security concepts (OAuth2, JWT, API security).
  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform).
  • Strong communication skills and a confident presence at decision-maker level.
  • Independent and client-focused working style.
  • Fluent German skills, both written and spoken.
