Accounting Assistant
LivinitiAccounting Assistant providing support with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and vendor documentation. Ensuring high standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all tasks.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works closely with Accounting Team members under the general supervision of the Accounting Administrator.
- Provides support with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and vendor documentation and data maintenance.
- Ensures administrative details are completed.
- Assists in the preparation of invoices and verification of accuracy.
- Submits invoices and backup documentation to clients via electronic data interchange.
- Sends 15-day payment reminders to clients related to late invoice payments.
- Reconciles Accounts Receivable payments with invoices.
- Performs research related to pharmacy claim, payment and remit questions from clients and vendors.
- Maintains records necessary for 1099 compliance.
- Proactively communicates to ensure issues and workflow priorities remain on target.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to work with peers in a team effort.
- Familiar with general Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
- Ability to quickly learn specialized PBM software application.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail oriented, with successful experience in meeting multiple deadlines.
- Aptitude for providing excellent customer service.
