About the role

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close process, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and statutory reporting
  • Oversee AP and AR functions performed by external bookkeepers
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly management reports in accordance with group reporting requirements along with variance analysis and board-level insights
  • Manage profit recognition in line with accounting standards and monitor gross margins and campaign profitability
  • Manage intercompany transactions, recharges and reconciliations across AU, UK and US entities
  • Coordinate annual statutory financial statements and manage external audit processes
  • Oversee global tax and regulatory obligations (GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate compliance), supported by external advisers
  • Help design and implement scalable financial processes and internal controls suitable for Livewire’s rapid growth

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA a plus)
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a high-growth environment (media/creative agency highly regarded)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero experience highly regarded) and strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders across regions
