About the role
- Serve as a relationship lead focusing on understanding client goals, driving adoption of DHA capabilities, and identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to strategize and engage prospective clients to understand business challenges and deliver compelling presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals, and oral presentations that result in new business revenue.
- Support execution of Commence's growth strategies, including effective and strategic qualification of opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with senior and executive-level decision makers, including DHA directorate leads and Service medical command leadership.
Requirements
- B.S. in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years working with DHA, Service medical commands, or the Military Health System in leadership or related/relevant roles
- Knowledge of military healthcare delivery systems, TRICARE, and the direct and purchased care model frameworks
- Understanding of DHA's technology strategy and modernization initiatives
- Proven track record building and managing relationships with DHA officials, Health Affairs leadership, or defense health policy leaders
- Familiarity with DHA's priorities and how its business and technology needs translate into opportunities and procurements.
