About the role
- Serve as a relationship lead focusing on understanding client goals
- Drive adoption of CMS capabilities
- Identify opportunities for optimization and growth while maintaining strong, trust-based client partnerships
- Support market expansion and align solutions to CMS priorities
- Help implement growth strategies and execute strategic plans
- Develop and execute tactical plans that identify and shape new opportunities
- Support proposal review efficiency, scoring and compliance verification
- Engage in negotiations with prospective clients and teaming partners around business commitments and proposal details
- Maintain regular contact with senior and executive-level decision makers
Requirements
- B.S. in Health Policy, Management, law or related or equivalent experience
- 10+ years working with CMS in leadership or related/relevant roles
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and model frameworks
- Proven track record building and managing relationships with CMS officials, or policy leaders
- Familiarity with CMS’s priorities and how its business and technology needs can become opportunities and procurements
