About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using Java and Angular.
  • Drive continuous product development, feature enhancements, and technical improvements across multiple applications.
  • Design and implement scalable integrations between internal and external systems.
  • Lead application refactoring and modernization initiatives to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend components.
  • Support the implementation of event-driven solutions and messaging-based architectures using Kafka.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and application issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support the delivery of high-quality software throughout the SDLC.
  • Ensure code quality, security, reliability, and performance through testing and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java and Angular.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Full-Stack Engineer or Technical Lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Java ecosystems, including Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience building modern web applications with Angular.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with application modernization, refactoring, and legacy system transformation.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor other engineers.
  • Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected.
