About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Actively participate in the preparation, design, implementation, and Go-Live phases of customer SAP S/4HANA (on-premise and cloud) implementation projects.
Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and professional networks.
Apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts.
Define and estimate total effort for the functional team within your area of expertise.
Manage functional team deliverables to meet engagement objectives and budget.
Plan, run, and facilitate workshops and meetings with clients.
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery while managing revenue consumption and profitability.
Provide creative ideas and solutions to address challenges.
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
Work closely with regional SAP consulting teams to develop and disseminate new ideas.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in business administration, economics, computer science, or a comparable program with a professional focus on finance or logistics.
Fluent in English and German.
Familiarity with the SAP product portfolio and proven application of SAP Best Practices and the SAP Activate methodology.
7+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, specializing in EWM and WM.
Preferably 4–6 full end-to-end SAP EWM implementations with team-leading experience.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA system conversions and Fiori apps.
Knowledge of warehouse structure setup, process-oriented storage control, layout-oriented storage control, VAS, ERP–EWM connectivity configurations, and data distribution model setup.
Integration experience with SAP TMS, MM, SD, and PP is preferred.
Experience writing functional specifications for WRICEF objects.
Solid understanding of multiple SAP modules and the ability to research and apply business best practices.
Experience designing and improving business processes, including business process re-engineering.
Technical experience with SAP frameworks and architectures and relevant SAP certifications.
Experience with hybrid/distributed architectures (on-premise vs. cloud).
Strong customer orientation, service mindset, and business acumen.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong writing, mentoring, decision-making, and meeting facilitation skills.
Ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues to deliver quality projects and consulting services.
