About the role
- Responsibility for our power supply portfolio – strategic, technical and commercial
- Market and competitor analysis: You monitor trends, analyze competitors and derive well-founded recommendations for action
- Product strategy & roadmap: You develop and own the roadmap for our power supplies – with a clear focus on market requirements and profitability
- Product Requirements Documents: You define structured requirements as the basis for developing new products
- Business cases: You evaluate product ideas from both technical and business perspectives and prepare decision-making materials for internal stakeholders
- Product lifecycle management: You actively manage the introduction of new products as well as the development and phase-out of existing models
- Pricing: You position your products appropriately for the market and develop sensible pricing strategies
- Participation in special projects – e.g., to optimize inventory levels or for product training for sales and customers
- Close collaboration with product development, marketing, sales and logistics as well as external agencies and consultants (e.g., in the area of product compliance)
Requirements
- Experience in product management (beyond junior level)
- A solid technical understanding to work closely and constructively with development teams
- Confidence in handling financial metrics and business cases
- Ideally, knowledge of PC components, especially power supplies – but not a must
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align today’s decisions with future market requirements
- Structured and goal-oriented working style with project management experience
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, including with diverse stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a good sense of prioritization
- Personal strengths include resilience, willingness to take responsibility and team spirit
- Ability to maintain an overview in demanding situations and work in a solution-oriented manner – especially in an environment currently undergoing change.
