About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You lead the architecture, design and implementation of Kubernetes environments based on public cloud or IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack)
According to customer requirements, you design and provide consulting for multi‑cloud container orchestration environments
Together with the team, you implement and automate CI/CD pipelines and the automated provisioning of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Design system solutions using open source components
You are the decisive voice for cloud cost engineering in complex system landscapes
You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping produce relevant content for clients and prospects about your area of expertise (e.g., technical articles, blog posts, conference talks)

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics or a related field
Kubernetes expert with substantial hands‑on experience on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (certifications are a plus but not required)
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or cloud SDKs
Concepts, tools and frameworks such as Kubernetes, containers, microservices, cloud‑native architectures, Self‑Contained Systems and Site Reliability Engineering are part of your day‑to‑day work
Excellent communication skills in English and German, and willingness to travel
