About the role

  • Support the implementation of cloud architectures and the migration of existing on-premises architectures to AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Develop IaC deployments using Terraform or Pulumi
  • Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
  • Perform cloud cost engineering for system landscapes
  • Assist our clients with cloud migration and application modernization
  • Produce relevant content for clients and interested parties about our area of work (e.g., technical articles, blog posts, conference presentations)

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP); certifications are a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Pulumi
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and the DevOps philosophy
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation is advantageous
  • Familiarity with concepts, tools, or frameworks such as OpenShift, Mesos, Nomad, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and self-contained systems
  • Very good communication skills in English and German
  • Willingness to travel nationally on occasion
