About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Duty Occupational Therapy cover Monday to Friday
- Screen and prioritise incoming Occupational Therapy referrals
- Assess complex cases and determine appropriate interventions
- Provide specialist advice regarding major adaptations and moving and handling
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure timely responses to referrals
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date case records
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within Adult Social Services
- Strong knowledge of major adaptations and moving and handling
- Experience managing complex cases independently
- Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills
