About the role
- Work with a collaborative team to mentor peers & foster skillsharing
- Create complex materials for characters, weapons, environments, and large world set pieces.
- Support all teams with Blueprint management and setup for interactable items, weapons, environments, and other gameplay elements.
- Establish workflows and tools for other artists to utilize when making unique assets in Unreal Engine 5.
Requirements
- A strong reel with recent work showcasing proficiency in Technical Art & VFX for Video Games (must submit to be considered)
- 2-3 years of technical art experience working in Unreal Engine 5 with Blueprints
- Ability to create art for visual effects, include FX concept, proto and final FX.
- Proficent in tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Houdini and/or Substance Painter etc
- Experienced knowledge of PBR principles and material editors.
- Abilities in secondary areas such as modeling, skinning, animation, proceduralism, scripting or lighting.
- Bonus Points! Additional scripting experience with C++, C#, Python, etc
- Work alongside dynamic individuals in the gaming industry
