About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables , ensuring proper documentation and compliance with industry standards
- Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs , including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware, while troubleshooting low voltage cable systems
- Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testing in accordance with BICSI standards, NEC, and local regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Deliver exceptional customer service , maintaining professionalism and strong communication skills to resolve technical issues and provide solutions
- Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanship on all installations to meet project specifications and exceed customer expectations
- Travel to job sites anywhere within your state, may also be required to travel within the USA
Requirements
What you’ll need- Low voltage technicians work in a team environment to meet project objectives
- Must have a great attitude, be dependable, willing to learn and take directions, and be reliable on the job site
