About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables
Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs, including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware
Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testing to ensure safety and compliance
Deliver exceptional customer service, maintain professionalism and strong communication skills
Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanship on all installations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to travel 100% to the project site in Montgomery, AL
Must own low voltage tools (strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches)
Ability to lift/carry/setup a 50-pound box or ladder
Able to work 2nd/3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure
Must pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and physical
Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
Commercial construction experience preferred
Tech 2: all above requirements plus a minimum 2 year of commercial low voltage installation experience
Tech 3: all above requirements plus a minimum of 3 years of commercial low voltage installation experience
