About the role
- Provide assessment/diagnosis and psychotherapy to a wide range of patients as young as 12 up to geriatric age, that are appropriate for telehealth services
- Use evidence-based screening tools with patients to screen and measure outcomes
- Document in electric medical record the services that were provided, as well as, providing diagnosis and billing code for the encounter
- Provide services via audio and visual two way communication platform
- Abide by the Code of Ethics and all laws and regulatory bodies governing the practice location
- Coordinate with clinical, health education, community health and other staff members in the provision of services to patients if necessary.
- Provide referrals for services needed
- Assume other responsibilities as directed
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy having obtained licensure as a Clinical or Independent Licensure able to practice independently the practice location (State)
- Experience with psychotherapy
- Familiarity with women's health, multicultural groups, previous work experience in a multicultural setting preferred
