About the role
- Performing post-linguistic quality control on key documents
- Ensuring translated and formatted content is complete, accurate, and compliant with quality standards
- Understanding both source and target languages to verify language-specific and high-risk content
- Meticulous review and verification of documents focusing on linguistic and non-linguistic elements
- Verifying that no paragraphs are missing or untranslated
- Ensuring target file formatting reflects the source accurately
- Performing language accuracy checks on critical elements like drug names, sponsor names
- Reviewing headers, footers, tables of contents, and links
- Detecting formatting issues, missing content, and errors in key areas of the text
Requirements
- Experience in multilingual quality control or a related field
- Ability to read and understand both English and Chinese
- Comfortable reviewing medical and technical content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and its Review functions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with translators and project managers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in translation quality control and linguistic services, Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards, Familiarity with different language scripts and alphabets is a plus
