Design and implement a SharePoint document catalog that is organized, annotated, and user-friendly
Develop metadata, tagging, and categorization strategies to ensure efficient document storage and retrieval
Configure libraries, lists, permissions, and workflows to support project collaboration
Collaborate with client stakeholders to capture requirements, inventory current forms and correspondences and tailor the document catalog to meet project needs
Provide documentation and training to ensure proper use and ongoing maintenance of the catalog
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accessibility standards, and best practices in document management
Deliverable: SharePoint Document Catalog – A fully organized, annotated SharePoint-based catalog to manage project documents and enable collaboration with client
Requirements
Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or Administrator
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2019, including document libraries, lists, metadata, and permissions
Experience designing and implementing document management solutions in SharePoint
Hands-on experience designing, creating, and/or remediating Microsoft Office and PDF documents, as well as accessible email content
Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to capture and implement requirements
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with workflow automation (e.g., Power Automate)
Preferred: Experience supporting government or public sector document management projects
Preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and integration with SharePoint
Preferred: Certification in accessibility (e.g., IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies – CPACC)
