About the role

  • Manage and optimize the software release processes, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and provide technical support to development teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across multiple environments, including rollback strategies and release readiness.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot applications in Windows/Linux environments, with a focus on automation where possible.
  • Maintain and administer DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, TeamCity, SonarQube, Fortify, Docker).
  • Manage builds and repositories (GitLab, TeamCity, Maven/Java, MSBuild), troubleshoot build issues, and configure build pipelines.
  • Perform security and quality checks including Fortify scans and automated uploads, ensuring compliance and issue resolution.
  • Administer infrastructure and environments: manage build agents, VM environments (vSphere), Docker containers, server certificates, and authentication (Okta).
  • Perform system administration tasks on Windows/Linux servers, including disk space management and troubleshooting.
  • Develop scripts and APIs (PowerShell, Bash) to support automation and integration across DevOps tools.
  • Document processes and collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration, releases, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in a DevOps, Release Engineering, or Build Engineering role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins).
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting a wide range of DevOps tools (GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Perforce, Bitbucket, Fortify, SonarQube, Docker, Crowd, Fisheye, Nexus, SVN).
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with vSphere and managing virtual machines.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with certificate management and troubleshooting build agents.
  • Familiarity with Okta and identity management.
