About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the daily operations of a Lindt Retail Boutique
- Generate and drive corporate sales
- Uphold exemplary customer service by modeling behaviour and establishing appropriate guidelines
- Monitor daily sales and labour issues to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service
- Recruit, interview and hire Retail Sales Associates
- Supervise store employees to maximize customer service, sales and profit
- Train staff on sales techniques and product knowledge
- Order merchandise and supplies while managing inventory and loss prevention
- Reconcile cash with sales receipts and complete daily paperwork, accounting, payroll and store administration
- Maintain product and sales knowledge while achieving sales goals and controlling expenses
- Manage staff performance and assist with employee performance reviews
- Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and food/product safety standards
- Perform cash handling, inventory ordering and related retail administrative duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent customer service skills
- Post secondary education preferred
- Sales-oriented and able to develop/build business
- 2–5 years of retail management experience
- Good time management habits
- Strong oral and written communication abilities in French and English
- Previous experience in a merchandising or presentation capacity
- History of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service
- Talent for sales and selling
- Passion for chocolate
