About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the daily operations of the Lindt Retail Boutique
  • Generate and drive corporate sales
  • Model exemplary customer service behaviour and establish appropriate guidelines
  • Monitor daily sales and labour issues to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service
  • Recruit, interview, and hire Retail Sales Associates
  • Supervise store employees to maximize customer service, sales, and profit
  • Train employees on sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Order merchandise and supplies while managing inventory and loss prevention
  • Reconcile cash with sales receipts and complete daily paperwork, accounting, payroll, and store administration
  • Develop and utilize product and sales knowledge to achieve sales goals while controlling expenses
  • Manage staff performance and assist with employee performance reviews
  • Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards
  • Maintain standards for cleanliness and food/product safety
  • Handle cash, order inventory, and perform related retail administrative duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Post secondary education preferred
  • Sales-oriented and able to develop/build business
  • 2–5 years of retail management experience
  • Good time management habits
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities in French and English
  • Previous experience in merchandising or presentation
  • History of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service
  • Talent for sales and selling
  • Passion for chocolate
