About the role

  • You ensure the quality and completeness of Master Data within your domain, drive Data Governance and execute change requests in compliance with global/local standards.
  • As a key interface between the business and IT, you monitor quality KPIs, contribute to governance committees and participate in data model evolutions in SAP S/4HANA, MDM/Data Hub and PLM.
  • Operational maintenance of Master Data
  • a. Ensure creation, update and deactivation of data objects, applying global and local standards and management rules.
  • b. Contribute to the product lifecycle management defined within the S4FARI framework (statuses and workflows), in coordination with local stakeholders.
  • Data quality assurance and improvement
  • a. Represent Data Governance within the functional area; identify gaps and needs for standard/process updates.
  • b. Monitor quality KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement action plans within the Operational Data Committee.
  • Coordination & cross-functional alignment
  • a. Maintain alignment with other Data Stewards involved in the same end-to-end process flow.
  • b. Prepare and feed governance bodies on items within your scope.
  • Data compliance & security: Apply confidentiality levels and integrity requirements across SAP S/4HANA, MDM (Data Hub) and PLM, and contribute to traceable access policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in data/IT, supply chain, finance or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in data management, business process or quality; ideally in FMCG/industry, with exposure to an ERP project (S/4HANA) and MDM.
  • Technical skills:
  • o Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Master Data and integrations; understanding of GTIN/GS1 rules and PLM/BOM objects; hands-on experience with Data Hub/MDM.
  • o Familiarity with data quality practices (profiling, controls), documentation of standards/processes, and data security/confidentiality.
  • Behavioral skills: rigor, service orientation, clear communication to business and IT, ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and lead on data quality.
  • Languages: professional French and English (group/international context).
