Perform engineering design, calculations, and support for the company
Take a lead design role on the team
Provide senior engineering technical expertise to the company
Use SKM for short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, and Neher-McGrath heat calculation studies
Design normal power, emergency power, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and various low voltage electrical systems
Create project specifications
Help provide engineering support to various departments within the company
Conduct project site visits and coordination with clients
Be involved with engineering marketing and business development

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the electrical industry
Must have experience with SKM software (or similar)
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Excellent computer proficiency
