About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive referral volume from primary and specialty care physicians, referral coordinators, hospital discharge planners, and other patient referral sources
- Represent LifeStance clinicians and serve as the face of LifeStance in the assigned New York market
- Spend approximately 70% of time in the field visiting referral partner care sites and building relationships
- Conduct approximately three days per week of in-person field visits, with some overnight travel based on territory size
- Work approximately two days per week virtually
- Build provider relationships to keep them informed and ensure their voice is heard to optimize care delivery
- Create high-impact call plans with referring providers and care sites through progressive selling
- Plan and conduct frequent in-person visits to referral sources
- Serve as a knowledge expert on LifeStance therapeutic services and patient types
- Collaborate with local practice operations teams to increase touchpoints with referral partners
- Arrange educational meetings with clinical leadership teams
- Use virtual and digital engagement with referral sources when in-person visits are not possible
- Attend local conferences and marketing opportunities as needed
- Develop relationships with senior leaders of primary and specialty care practice groups
- Document visits in Salesforce, monitor call plan actualization, and manage the book of business
- Report directly to the National Business Development Director and collaborate with clinical and operations teams
- Operate in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
- 1-2 years of marketing, sales, and/or business development experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to facilitate dialogue with contacts that results in receiving the next referral
- Proactive self-starter motivated to achieve goals and metric-based targets
- Ability to collaborate in an accountable team environment
- Comfort using data to prioritize efforts and drive improved performance
- Openness to constructive feedback to optimize call plan impact
- Use Salesforce daily to document visits, monitor call plan actualization, and manage book of business
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other aspects of culture
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk; lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds; required visual abilities
