About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and run a new AI product line as a standalone business unit
- Own product sales, marketing and pricing, including the teams supporting each function
- Own the unit's commercial and product outcomes, including revenue and product uptake targets
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new enterprise AI product line
- Recruit, structure and lead the business unit team
- Set the commercial operating cadence, including pipeline management, forecasting and deal governance
- Work with engineering and product leadership to align the roadmap with commercial demand
- Report directly to the CEO on business unit performance
- Take the product to enterprise customers in healthcare and life sciences
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience
- Direct ownership of commercial targets in healthcare or life sciences software
- Experience launching products from zero to one and scaling them commercially
- Experience closing enterprise deals in excess of $300k
- Experience building and managing a commercial team and product-led growth strategies
- Ability to operate with high autonomy in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Biomedical research acumen is a significant plus; experience in genetics, biomedical research, or Bioinformatics preferred
- Passion for the biomedical research field is essential
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Subject to a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
