About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own product strategy and roadmap for a new enterprise AI product line
  • Build the product with the engineering team from discovery through shipping and iteration
  • Own product marketing, including positioning, messaging and launch execution
  • Hire exceptional new team members into the product organisation as the unit scales
  • Translate scientific users’ needs into product decisions while working directly with customers
  • Report directly to the CEO on product progress and adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 to 15 years of product experience
  • Biomedical background in biology, computational biology, genetics or a related discipline; required
  • Scientific understanding at the level of a working scientist
  • Ability to engage credibly with biomedical and genetic researchers
  • Experience shipping products to a biomedical scientist user base; firm requirement
  • Deep familiarity with AI/ML product development and the current LLM ecosystem
  • Track record of working directly with engineering teams to build and ship products
  • Strong product marketing instincts and ability to position technical products for enterprise buyers
  • Experience in genetics, biomedical research or bioinformatics is a significant plus
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to pass a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
