About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales at chain accounts in the QSR, C-store, and Coffee segments with a focus on finding new customers.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the foodservice industry, including Operators, Distributors, and relevant competitive players.
- Apply a clear understanding of the company’s strategic plan and go-to-market approach to support business objectives and align with customer expectations.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Build and manage customer relationships by understanding their operations and engaging across key functional areas.
- Provide timely insights on pricing, market trends, and customer needs.
- Identify new sales prospects within assigned markets and evaluate the potential of each opportunity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact, activity, and opportunity information within the CRM.
- Demonstrate strong initiative, energy, and a commitment to achieving results.
- Assist with the development of the annual sales budget and provide timely monthly forecast updates.
- Collaborate across departments and support a team-focused environment.
- Work from a home office and spend approximately 50% of the time meeting with customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three to five years of foodservice sales experience.
- Established customer relationships within the foodservice industry, particularly with chain accounts.
- Ability to secure appointments and pursue new business opportunities in a competitive environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence customers and decision-makers.
- Skilled in developing and delivering effective presentations.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Experience working with a CRM platform.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to travel 50% or more.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools.
