About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct turndown service between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Follow standard guest room entry procedures
Arrange guests' personal items neatly
Respect guests’ privacy and avoid unnecessary noise
Re-point toilet paper and tissues
Dry sink and tub surfaces
Empty trash cans
Refresh and clean ice bucket
Turn on bedside light and dimmable mood lights
Straighten linens and pillows
Place bathrobe on bed
Place remote control on bedside table
Replace used glassware and place bathmat on floor
Close drapes and lock windows/patio doors
Change or observe Green Program request for towels
Keep guest rooms and hallways clean, organized, and presentable
Respond to guest requests and needs
Report maintenance issues or lost items to management
Maintain housekeeping carts and supply levels
Follow hotel safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–35 pounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
