About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and lead new features for Letterboxd’s mobile platform, including iOS and Android apps
Enhance and maintain existing mobile code
Work closely with web and backend engineers
Guide technical decisions
Support and mentor team members within a growing development team
Contribute to planning and quality assurance processes
Foster a successful, productive, efficient and fun work environment
Report directly to the CTO

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in a senior software engineering role with a significant mobile component
Possibly 10+ years in software engineering
Strong background building native applications for both iOS and Android
Expertise in Swift and Kotlin
Ideally, experience with Objective-C and Java
Attention to detail in UI/UX development
Significant experience adapting to and learning new software stacks and code bases
Passion for learning, teamwork, and sharing expertise
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
