About the role
- Community & network outreach: recruiting non-profits and volunteers
- Advising organizations on digital engagement
- Planning and executing events & webinars for the community
- Supporting volunteers in finding and selecting suitable projects
- Developing new community formats
- Conducting targeted outreach to attract non-profits and volunteers
- Designing & implementing audience-focused communication measures
- Creating digital materials, print products, social media posts and blog articles that showcase our community’s engagement
- KPI tracking & performance monitoring
- Developing strategies to reach and engage young target groups
- Ongoing development of the newsletter
- Briefing and coordinating external content creators
- Designing and analyzing feedback formats (e.g., surveys, interviews)
- Monitoring & optimizing activities
- Reporting and producing usage/expenditure documentation for funders
Requirements
- Experience building and supporting communities
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent and initiative
- A good understanding of young people’s life experiences and a willingness to explore new communication channels
- Openness to take responsibility and actively bring our clear project structure to life
- Passion for voluntary engagement — volunteering is close to your heart
- A startup mentality with high initiative and a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working
- Passion for social engagement and the ability to inspire others
- Business-fluent German (C1/C2)
- Residence in Germany
