About the role

  • Community & network outreach: recruiting non-profits and volunteers
  • Advising organizations on digital engagement
  • Planning and executing events & webinars for the community
  • Supporting volunteers in finding and selecting suitable projects
  • Developing new community formats
  • Conducting targeted outreach to attract non-profits and volunteers
  • Designing & implementing audience-focused communication measures
  • Creating digital materials, print products, social media posts and blog articles that showcase our community’s engagement
  • KPI tracking & performance monitoring
  • Developing strategies to reach and engage young target groups
  • Ongoing development of the newsletter
  • Briefing and coordinating external content creators
  • Designing and analyzing feedback formats (e.g., surveys, interviews)
  • Monitoring & optimizing activities
  • Reporting and producing usage/expenditure documentation for funders

Requirements

  • Experience building and supporting communities
  • Strong communication skills, organizational talent and initiative
  • A good understanding of young people’s life experiences and a willingness to explore new communication channels
  • Openness to take responsibility and actively bring our clear project structure to life
  • Passion for voluntary engagement — volunteering is close to your heart
  • A startup mentality with high initiative and a hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working
  • Passion for social engagement and the ability to inspire others
  • Business-fluent German (C1/C2)
  • Residence in Germany
