About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for sending out Requests for Quotes to our qualified Sub Network candidates
Analyze the submitted quotes and recommend subcontractors to our Sales Team
Establish the Sub Purchase Order and negotiate to obtain the best and most competitive pricing
Maintain strong relationships with established subcontractors
Identify, Source, Evaluate, and Select subcontractors based on their expertise
Negotiate subcontractor agreements
Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and others in the Sourcing & Procurement Team
Prepare and present regular reports on subcontractor performance to senior management
Develop and maintain a robust network of qualified subcontractors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience
3+ years of experience in subcontractor management, construction coordination, or similar
Construction or Concrete/Asphalt experience, a plus
Coursework in Construction/Project Management, a plus
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions and next steps
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Flexibility and Team growth-mindset
