About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a growing development team, including coaching developers to upgrade the overall skill level
Make technical and architectural decisions supporting security, efficiency, and scalability
Develop the leonardo web application hands-on
Perform frontend and backend code reviews and maintain best practices and high code quality
Research and recommend technologies meeting business requirements
Optimize code and algorithms to improve performance
Set up and optimize DevOps processes
Attend stakeholder and client meetings to provide technical feedback
Deploy machine learning models
Collaborate with Product, Design, and ML teams on feature estimates, difficulty, and limitations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 9 years of experience in software development
Experience leading, hiring, and mentoring a development team
Advanced knowledge of Next.js, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Test Driven Development, DevOps, MLOps, and AWS Services
Familiarity with MLOps, particularly pipelines requiring large language models or computer vision
Fluent spoken and written English
Experience with both monolith and microservices architectures
Comfortable communicating ideas or deliverables to the team and clients
Experience with pipelines requiring large language models or computer vision is a bonus
