QA/QC Specialist
Leeward Renewable Energy, LLCQA/QC Specialist providing guidance to enhance wind turbine operating performance and safety. Collaborating with technicians to identify and propose solutions for performance hurdles.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide guidance to improve wind turbine operating performance
- Identify safety risks and exposures by performing site safety audits
- Perform turbine QA/QC inspections and generate reports
- Participate with operations, data analytics, and engineering to understand and improve turbine performance
- Analyzes, summarizes and communicates findings regularly with Leeward management team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of relevant technical experience; experience with wind power generation preferred
- 2-Year Associates Industrial Health (or similar) Degree
- 4-Years applicable work experience may be substituted
- Turbine climbing and related safety certifications
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams and other common specifications
