About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead PMO activities focused on planning, control, and decision support, ensuring visibility of deadlines, scope, risks, costs, and dependencies
  • Act as the project focal point, facilitating communication between business areas, technical teams, and vendors
  • Maintain and evolve the IT project portfolio view, supporting prioritization according to strategic direction and operational capacity
  • Conduct scoping, follow-up, and status meetings, recording decisions, open items, risks, and owners
  • Prepare project plans and schedules with milestones, dependencies, and executive-level views, tracking variances
  • Analyze scope, schedule, cost, and risk deviations, proposing alternatives and escalating impacts to the appropriate governance bodies
  • Produce status reports and executive materials to support coordination and leadership decision-making
  • Support the elicitation and detailing of functional and non-functional requirements, bridging business and technical teams
  • Support and coordinate SIT and UAT testing, validations, and approvals, preparing releases to production
  • Ensure projects adhere to PMO practices and contribute to continuous improvement of methods, templates, and metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Proven experience in PMO or IT project management, with autonomy in monitoring, control, and communication
  • Solid knowledge of agile, traditional, and hybrid methodologies
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, business areas, and vendors, including expectation and conflict management
  • Experience planning and controlling medium- to high-complexity projects, covering scope, schedule, cost, risks, and dependencies
  • Knowledge of project and portfolio governance, KPIs, and initiative prioritization
  • Ability to map processes and analyze functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring traceability
  • Experience in implementation, evolution, or migration of enterprise systems, including ERP, financial systems, automations, and AI
  • Proficiency with project and PMO support tools
  • Intermediate English
  • Preferred: postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management or IT Governance
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL 4, COBIT Foundation, Scrum Master, Kanban, or ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation
  • Preferred: knowledge of financial, administrative, or tax processes
  • Consultative and proactive attitude
  • Clear, structured communication with technical teams, business areas, and executive levels
  • Ability to influence decisions and negotiate priorities without direct hierarchical authority
  • Autonomy, critical thinking, organization, and systems thinking
