About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Document pipelines by reverse-engineering code;
  • Map execution flows and dependencies between processes;
  • Assist in planning data load migrations;
  • Develop automated analyses to accelerate reverse-engineering;
  • Build scalable and resilient data analytics solutions on AWS;
  • Implement architectural improvements;
  • Elicit requirements from business areas and document them;
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies;
  • Align the corporate IT environment with business needs, standards, and industry best practices;
  • Drive a data-driven culture in day-to-day activities;
  • Ability to work in a team with empathy, to listen and be heard, and strong communication skills;

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with AWS (S3, EMR, Athena, Lambda, SQS, AWS Glue, RDS, Redshift);
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Databricks;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with PySpark;
  • Understanding of Spark architecture and the features and challenges of distributed systems;
  • Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
  • **Preferred:**
  • AWS certification: Professional or Specialty;
  • Databricks certification;
