About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Document pipelines by reverse-engineering code;
- Map execution flows and dependencies between processes;
- Assist in planning data load migrations;
- Develop automated analyses to accelerate reverse-engineering;
- Build scalable and resilient data analytics solutions on AWS;
- Implement architectural improvements;
- Elicit requirements from business areas and document them;
- Familiarity with agile methodologies;
- Align the corporate IT environment with business needs, standards, and industry best practices;
- Drive a data-driven culture in day-to-day activities;
- Ability to work in a team with empathy, to listen and be heard, and strong communication skills;
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years' experience with AWS (S3, EMR, Athena, Lambda, SQS, AWS Glue, RDS, Redshift);
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Databricks;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with PySpark;
- Understanding of Spark architecture and the features and challenges of distributed systems;
- Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
- **Preferred:**
- AWS certification: Professional or Specialty;
- Databricks certification;
