About the role

  • Provide technical leadership for the data team, serving as a reference for architecture and best practices
  • Evaluate, propose, and evolve data architecture solutions (batch and streaming)
  • Translate business needs into efficient, scalable technical solutions
  • Work closely with business areas, especially in CRM and Martech contexts
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability
  • Support strategic decisions related to data platforms and tools
  • Promote engineering best practices (modularization, testing, observability, etc.)
  • Mentor and develop the team technically

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data engineering and data architecture
  • Experience with distributed processing (Spark / PySpark)
  • Proficient in Python
  • Experience with pipeline orchestration (Airflow)
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
  • Experience with messaging and streaming (Kafka)
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Knowledge of data modeling and building scalable pipelines
  • Experience with CRM, CDP (Customer Data Platform), and Martech ecosystems
  • Experience working with customer data, journeys, and personalization
  • Experience in data-driven marketing and growth environments
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture
  • Strong technical leadership and influencing skills
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
  • Good communication with technical and business stakeholders
  • Hands-on profile with strategic capability
  • Autonomy and ownership mindset
