About the role

  • Document pipelines by reverse-engineering code;
  • Map execution flows and dependencies between processes;
  • Assist in planning data load migrations;
  • Develop automated analyses to accelerate reverse-engineering;
  • Build scalable and resilient data analytics solutions in the AWS environment;
  • Implement architectural improvements;
  • Gather requirements with business teams and document them;
  • Be familiar with agile methodologies;
  • Align the corporate IT environment with business needs, standards, and industry best practices;
  • Champion a data-driven culture in day-to-day activities;
  • Demonstrate teamwork with empathy, strong listening skills, and effective communication;

Requirements

  • Experience in AWS Data Engineering and Databricks;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS (S3, EMR, Athena, Lambda, SQS, AWS Glue, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Databricks;
  • Development experience with Python, PySpark, and pandas;
  • Understanding of Spark architecture and the capabilities and challenges of distributed systems;
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
  • Preferred:
  • AWS certification: Professional or Specialty;
  • Databricks certification;
